The New TNG GO! Release Features Many Updates & EnhancementsMay 18, 2023
HRS Hospitality & Retail Systems has released the latest version of its food and beverage mobile ordering application, TNG GO!.
Among the most important new features being introduced is Translation Support. This feature has been added to the previously available TNG GO! system translations and allows users to view large sections of Simphony configuration data, including Menu Items, Family Groups, and Tender Media, making the app even more accessible and valuable. In addition, nine languages are now supported; these include traditional and simplified Chinese, Spanish, and Russian, with additional translations planned.
Another important change concerns the direct integration between TNG GO! and Opera PMS; users can now perform a Room Look Up during the check creation process. This removes the need to enter the room information again when closing by posting to a room. This accelerates the end-to-end guest journey and allows users to check whether internal guests or external customers are occupying the tables before service begins.
Besides the additional performance improvements, a dark mode has been introduced, providing a clear work screen in bright sunlit service areas and extending the battery performance of some devices.
